The starting figures only demonstrate the calculator. They are not hotel quotes, airfare estimates, current fares, or a claim about the usual cost of a Japan trip. Enter your own research and bookings.
Understand the calculation
Accommodation = nights × rooms × nightly room cost. Daily spending = days × (adults × adult daily spend + children × child daily spend). We add fixed costs, then apply your buffer to the subtotal.
Check what is included
The total contains only the amounts you enter. Avoid counting an attraction in both daily spending and fixed costs. Use yen throughout, and convert foreign-currency quotes using a rate you have checked separately.
